In order to deliver that essence from the ground up, we do not compromise on the selection of materials.
The leather used by our brand for our geta sandals is "LWG Certified Leather," certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), an international environmental protection organization. It is a sustainable leather that meets global standards, minimizing environmental impact in every aspect, from water resource usage, chemical management, wastewater treatment, and traceability of the manufacturing process. Choosing materials that are not only beautiful but also one that we can be proud of for the future is also part of our aesthetic.

We also support "Thinking Leather Action (TLA)," which widely disseminates information about sustainability in the leather and leather product industry. Rooted in tradition, yet unafraid of innovation, we value harmony between nature and humans. We embodied this philosophy in the ancient Japanese footwear of geta, imbuing each step with space and beauty. 96KURo-design's geta are not meant to be worn out, but rather to deepen in texture over time, becoming more comfortable the more you wear them—adding a quiet, certain beauty to the feet of modern people.
